Hosting an Event in 2025

Get key deadlines and links to essential resources

We’re excited to have you join us as an event organizer and contribute to Houston’s vibrant climate ecosystem.  The heart of climate weeks across the country is the community organizing and events that take place during the week; you contribute to that pulse. Last year, we had over 3,500 registrants, and we anticipate that number will increase this year. Thank you for activating the local community.

This guide will show you how to feature your event on the centralized HECW 2025 calendar, streamlining these efforts and offering marketing and communication tips to help you make the most of HECW.  We designed this Official Event Toolkit to help you reach community members and send a compelling message. As you plan your Houston Energy & Climate Week event, this guide will provide the best tips and practices for bolstering community engagement and ensuring a successful event.
