How and who can host an event?
Any organization with a genuine interest in energy and climate topics is welcome to host an event during Houston Energy & Climate Week. Past hosts have included energy companies, law firms, universities, nonprofits, government agencies, startups, and community organizations.

- Energy companies (oil & gas, renewables, utilities, midstream)
- Financial institutions and investors

- Nonprofits and advocacy organizations

- Community organizations
What kinds of events are eligible?
Events must be substantive and focused on energy and/or climate topics. Eligible formats include:
- Panel discussions and keynotes
- Workshops and training sessions
- Networking receptions
- Site tours and field trips
- Hackathons and competitions
- Film screenings and art exhibitions
