How do I submit my form for carbon accounting?
HECW is committed to measuring and reducing the environmental impact of the week. As part of this commitment, we ask event organizers to submit carbon accounting information so we can calculate the collective footprint of HECW.
What information is needed
The carbon accounting form collects information about:
- Attendance: Number of attendees and estimated travel modes
- Venue: Venue size, energy source, and HVAC usage
- Catering: Type of food and beverage service (plant-based, mixed, etc.)
- Materials: Printed materials, swag, and single-use items
- Waste: Recycling and composting practices
How to submit
After your event, you will receive an email with a link to the carbon accounting form. Please complete and submit the form within 2 weeks of your event.
