Where is HECW located?
Houston Energy & Climate Week takes place across Houston, Texas — the energy capital of the world. Events are held at venues throughout the city, including downtown Houston, the Energy Corridor, Midtown, the Museum District, and university campuses.
Why Houston?
Houston is home to more than 4,600 energy-related firms and is the headquarters of more Fortune 500 energy companies than any other city in the world. It is also the most diverse major city in the United States, making it uniquely positioned to lead the energy transition with both technical expertise and community perspective.
Getting around
Houston is a driving city, but many HECW events are clustered in walkable areas. Rideshare services (Uber, Lyft) are widely available. Some events may offer shuttle service — check individual event pages for details.
Hotel partner
HECW partners with local hotels to offer preferred rates for out-of-town attendees. See our Hotel Partner article for current information.
