Houston Energy and Climate Week Speakers Agreement

This Agreement is made and entered into by and between Allies in Energy, a Texas nonprofit corporation recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (hereinafter referred to as the "Charity"), and the Speaker.

By agreeing to speak at Houston Energy and Climate Week, I agree to the following:

• I will adhere to the deadlines set regarding my presentation.
• I will follow the guidelines for submitting a photo, bio, handouts, slides, audio-visual equipment request, etc.
• I will receive permission to use copyrighted materials.
• I understand that I am responsible for my own travel and conference-related expenses, unless otherwise agreed to by myself and Allies in Energy (Houston Energy and Climate Week).
• I understand that this program is for professional development, and agree to not use my presentation for sales or promotional purposes.
• I understand that Allies in Energy may record my session and make it available to other participants after the conference.
• I understand I need to be on-site no later than 30 minutes before my presentation time. If I'm an online speaker, I know I need to be logged in online at least 30 minutes before the session time.
• I understand that Allies in Energy makes no warranties that participation in the Houston Energy and Climate Week will benefit my business or that Allies in Energy promotions regarding my presentation or panel discussion will enhance my reputation or business in any way.

Recording License

In connection with the Houston Energy and Climate Week, I hereby grant permission to Allies in Energy to record in any medium my presentation and grant to Allies in Energy a nonexclusive, irrevocable, worldwide license to use, reproduce, make derivative works, publish, distribute the recording, transcript, and/or handouts and related materials of my presentation and comments at the presentation.

I warrant and represent that, to the best of my knowledge, nothing in my presentation violates any proprietary or personal rights of others (including, without limitation, any copyrights or privacy rights); and that my presentation is factually accurate, and contains nothing libelous or otherwise unlawful.

I further warrant and represent that my presentation is my own original work, that I have the right and authority to make this Release and License, and that I am the sole owner of copyright or that I have obtained all necessary permissions or licenses from any persons or organizations whose materials are included or used in my presentation.

Compensation

I understand that I will not receive any royalty or other compensation for the license and use of my presentation. I understand that the Release and License does not prohibit me from using my presentation in the future in my professional or personal work.

I authorize Allies in Energy to use my name, likeness, photograph, and biographical data for the use and promotion of the seminar and my presentation.
