Houston Energy and Climate Week is proud to announce Allies in Energy as the anchor host for this year's event.
Allies in Energy is a nonprofit (501 c3) community working in partnership to increase energy and climate literacy education and investments. We are developing the energy and climate workforce of the future. We want to build a strong foundation of energy and climate literacy, inspire leadership and innovation, and drive meaningful investments in our communities, paving the way for a more sustainable, prosperous, and equitable future for generations to come.
Allies in Energy focuses on three core areas:
- Education & Literacy: Empower individuals and organizations with the knowledge and skills needed to increase energy and climate literacy and inspire future energy leaders.
- Community Programs: Drive meaningful investments in our communities that aim to increase energy literacy, ensuring that the benefits of a sustainable energy transition are accessible to all.
- Affinity Organizations: Offering a platform, connection, and funding to bring together diverse stakeholders and address the challenges and opportunities presented by the changing energy landscape.
"Allies in Energy is proud to anchor the first-ever Houston Energy & Climate Week. We look forward to welcoming local, regional, national and international visitors to Houston in September. Get involved. Register your event and learn more today," said Lindsay Roe, President of Allies in Energy.
